A publishing enterprise is more than a simple conduit between author and audience. We believe there is power in a physical book, and we seek to embrace the traditional spirit of print while still experimenting with the novelty of the future. We wholeheartedly subscribe to the notion that reading is not only sexy, it is also essential. We consider it a privilege to keep important things alive.

Resurrection House was founded by publisher Mark Teppo—both an old school bibliophile and a future-hugging child of the 21st century. The house spreads its titles across several imprints.

ARCHE PRESS was formed in 2013 as part of the new century venture, and it targets our love of speculative fiction.

UNDERLAND PRESS exists on the fringes of genre, both literary and weird. It was originally founded by Victoria Blake in 2006 as an independent publishing company based out of Portland, OR. Underland published nearly a dozen titles under Ms. Blake's exceptional guidance, and in 2013, Resurrection House acquired the press and now continues Victoria's excellent work. The imprint has won the American Library Association's Best Horror award, and its books have been nominated for the Hugo Award, the Nebula Award, the Shirley Jackson Award, and the International Horror Award.

ROTA BOOKS is a specialty imprint that deals with books that don't necessarily fit within the aesthetic of either of the above imprints.

Resurrection House and its imprints are distributed by Publishers Group West (PGW) and its affiliates. Availability of digital ARCs and other information about our books may be found on our Edelweiss catalog.
